Tinyfile is a free online lossless file optimizer. Drop images, PDFs, audio, video, archives or documents and get them back smaller, with exactly the same content. No account needed.
Each file is optimized and then checked: the result is kept only if it is smaller and decodes to the same content as the original. If it cannot be made smaller you get the original back.
Files are deleted automatically after 60 minutes. The web tool is free with limits; there is nothing to install.
Developers can call one endpoint, POST https://tinyfile.dev/v1/optimize, with an API key: send a file, get the optimized file back. See the API docs.
The web tool is free and needs no account. The API costs $0.005 per file that actually gets smaller ($5.00 per 1,000 files); unchanged, skipped and failed files are free.
Yes. A result is kept only if it is smaller and checked to hold the same content as the original. Otherwise you get the original file back, unchanged.
